An updated draft of PAS 110 is now available, to read alongside the proposed Quality Protocol for the Production and Use of Quality Outputs from Anaerobic Digestion of Source Segregated Biodegradable Waste. The protocol is part of the Environment Agency and WRAP's Waste Protocols Project, and consultation ended on 27 June.

Earlier in June the EU Presidency acting on behalf of the Council reached a compromise agreement with European Parliament Rapporteur Caroline Jackson MEP on the proposed revisions to the EU Waste Framework Directive. This compromise deal is supported by the Commission.
